Local news might not always make it onto the splash page of the news websites or Apple News notifications, but local news matters. Our real estate agents are local specialists because when you move into an area, you care about the restaurants, school districts, walkability, parks, and shopping. You can’t find that out on Zillow the same way you can by talking to someone who lives in the area.

Are you a home owner in La Verne, San Dimas, Glendora, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, or Upland? We represent home buyers and sellers from Pasadena, Inglewood, Glendora, San Bernardino, Riverside, and all Southern California. Why? Because there is a real estate agent inside our brokerage who can uniquely fit your needs and respond to what you are looking for in a REALTOR.

We have a local expert for you.

What local updates stuck out to me this week?

AZUSA

Over the past five years, Azusa has been the fastest-growing city in the San Gabriel Valley, with 6.6% population growth during that period.”*

IRWINDALE

You might be waving goodbye to the iconic Coors plant at the intersection of the 605 and 210 freeways. “Molson Coors Beverage Company announced plans to cease production at its facility in Irwindale by September 2020.”*

SAN DIMAS

New development in San Dimas on the south side of Bonita Avenue is being discussed by the City Council. “A Vroman’s Bookstore, a high-quality organic grocery store, and a 50-room boutique hotel could be built on vacant property near downtown San Dimas.”*

INLAND EMPIRE

Nine schools in Riverside County and nineteen schools in San Bernardino were named 2020 California Distinguished Schools for excellence in test scores, school climate, graduation rate, and other factors. “The [California Distinguished Schools] program recognizes schools that are awarded for closing the achievement gap among student groups and for “exceptional” student performance.”***

ALONG THE METRO GOLD LINE

The Pasadena Star News put together a compilation of the best restaurants near the Metro Gold Line station stops**. What are some that you would try?  Off of the downtown Azusa and Citrus Station, they recommend Canyon City Barbeque, but we would even add La Tolteca! Hop off at the Monrovia Station and they recommend the Peach Cafe for breakfast.
