As we get closer to the end of 2026, it’s a great time to take a quick look at a few things around your home and make sure you’re set up for the year ahead.

Your End-of-Year Home Checklist

✔️ Know Your Home’s Current Value
Even if you’re not planning to sell, it can be helpful to know what your home may be worth in today’s market.

✔️ Review Your Homeowners Insurance
Take a moment to make sure your coverage still reflects your home and belongings — especially if you’ve made improvements or major purchases this year.

✔️ Keep Track of Home Improvements
Did you remodel, replace a roof, install new flooring, upgrade your kitchen, or make other improvements? Keep your receipts and records together. They can be valuable for future planning.

✔️ Check Your Maintenance List
Take care of those little projects that are easy to put off — leaks, filters, caulking, landscaping, exterior repairs, and anything else that could become a bigger expense later.

✔️ Start Thinking About 2027
If a move, investment property, refinance, or change in housing is somewhere on your radar for next year, there’s no need to wait until January to start planning.

A Quick Reminder

You don’t have to be ready to buy or sell to talk real estate.

Whether you’re simply curious about your home’s value, wondering what the market is doing, or thinking about making a move sometime down the road, We’re always happy to be a resource.

And if you know someone who could use a real estate resource, We’d be happy to help them too.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
