This September 11th marks 22 years since the tragic attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks said in a ceremony at the Defense Department: “As the years since September 11th increase, so, too, does the importance of telling our stories, because even as many of us have personal memories of what happened that day, an increasing share of Americans don’t. They were too young or hadn’t yet been born.”

Although we are on the other side of the country, many in Southern California were personally affected by the 9/11 attacks. Whether it was their family and friends on the East Coast, travels, or the paradigm shift of how we saw our national security, countless felt the emotional impact. This year, KALEO agents remember: the resilient survivors; heroes; and first responders who helped, saved, and may have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Today KALEO REALTORs will take the time to reflect and be grateful for the everyday things our agents may take for granted like going to work and spending time with loved ones.
