Chunk-N-Chip (artisan ice cream), Mini Kabob, Smog City Brewing, Steelhead Coffee,and The Taco Man are just a few of the anchors. The Glendora Public Market is in the old Wonder Bread building on 905 E Arrow Hwy. Their website says, “Glendora Public Market is a dynamic gathering place to enjoy food and drinks within a reclaimed historic space.”
The Azusa Unified School District will be closing and consolidating Mountain View and Gladstone elementary schools by the end of the 2019 school year.
City of La Verne officials are working with the City Council, the public, and the Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority about expanding White Avenue. “The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority, which is overseeing a 12.3-mile extension of the Gold Line from Glendora to Montclair, is considering expanding White Avenue, the main thoroughfare between the 10 and 210 freeways, to four lanes. “
New apartment homes are coming to the city of Rancho Cucamonga and these homes are walking distance to Day Creek Marketplace. “The City of Rancho Cucamonga and National Community Renaissance (National CORE) broke ground on Day Creek Villas, an affordable housing community for seniors aged 62 and older located along the Pacific Electric Trail”.
A 203 unit multifamily community, named Alta Upland, is anticipated to start construction in the next month. Residents of Redlands can get excited about a new Public Market too! A 1906 citrus plant will become the Redlands Public Market, anticipated to open in January 2020. It will have food, retail, and produce stalls.
The city of Fontana is upgrading several parks with new playground equipment at Heritage Circle Park, Hunters Ridge Park, San Sevaine Park and Fontana Park! “Not only an array of colors, the playground upgrades include American with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible features, such as play panels at ground level, music and cognitive components.”
