Raised in Covina, I understand the numerous intangible benefits of life in the San Gabriel Valley with its unmatched weather, culture, and diversity. I moved to La Verne in 1994 and joined the various PTA Boards as my child approached elementary school and have continued thru her high school years. I am a Board Member of the La Verne, San Dimas Educational Foundation and a very active and connected community volunteer with the Bonita Unified School. I have served on several committees at the schools and served on the foundation as a member of the grant committee, which reviews applications and approves grants for teachers and staff throughout the district to fund innovative programs for students, which have often become permanent parts of the curriculum.
