James Baiseri is a rare combination of vision and pragmatism. Licensed since 2004, James is the founder, Broker, and owner of KALEO Real Estate Company. James has personally closed over $100 million in sales as a real estate agent and has closed hundreds of transactions. His experience with the “boots on the ground” day-to-day life of a REALTOR inspired KALEO’s one-on-one education, staff support, marketing, and contract training in an increasingly DIY industry. James has worked in residential and commercial sales, with experience in short sales, probates, and REOs.
In 2013, James opened his own brokerage: KALEO Real Estate Company. The word KALEO is Greek and means “to be called upon or to be appointed”. Real estate agents are often called to help in difficult times and transitions. When James founded KALEO, he was inspired to coach and mentor agents, knowing that real estate ebbs and flows, and comes with scenarios that are difficult to navigate without mentorship and strong leadership. Today KALEO Real Estate Company has over 50 agents and has closed nearly $1 Billion in sales all over Southern California from San Diego to Oxnard, Big Bear and the Foothill Cities.
James’ experience and direct advocacy for the real estate industry has spanned over a decade. He has served as President of the Citrus Valley Association of REALTORS in 2016, and as a State Director with the California Association of REALTORS since 2013. He has served on the Board of Directors for Citrus Valley Association of Realtors (CVAR) since 2012 and is a President’s Circle Major donor for the National Association of Realtors REALTOR Political Action Committee (RPAC). James has also served on numerous committees for the California Association of Realtors. In 2020 he served as Region 16 Regional Chair and the Vice-Chair of the Regional Chairs committee. He has chaired numerous committees for CVAR, including the Commercial Committee; Personnel Committee, Membership Value Committee, and Realtor Action Fund Political Action Committee. James was awarded Realtor of the Year in 2018 by CVAR. James is the 2023 Vice-Chair of the Legislative Committee for California Association of Realtors. His involvement on the local, state, and national level is fueled by a passion for the real estate industry and belief in the positive societal and community impacts that homeownership provides.
James is happily married to his high school sweetheart Andrea. They have 2 boys and 2 girls together, and added a daughter-in-law after their oldest son married his high school sweetheart in 2016. James serves at his local church as a Bible Study leader and host. He also loves to golf, share a cigar with friends, read, listen to music, and weekend getaways with his wife.
